When I first began researching ways to leave this existence there was a suicide Wiki I found extremely interesting and useful . . . then it was gone! I don't know why except the usual suspects probably forced it to be removed. Since it goes into great detail about SN and provides the now accepted methods, and has information about early users, it had to be memory holed. But that is easier said than done! Enter the "Wayback Machine". Part of the sprawling "Internet Archive" online archival library, the Wayback Machine was named for the mythical time travel machine in the cartoon series Rocky and Bullwinkle. It is also the worst enemy of the memory hole advocates. Whereas most web crawlers look for new information on sites, and erase all older information; the Wayback web crawlers take "snapshots" of web pages and store them permanently. And it will record the site over and over again noting any updates. This Wiki has been a great comfort and source of information for me for nearly half a decade. I believe it is a must read for anyone interested in SN. Fortunately, accessing it is extremely easy. 1) open your web browser and type in "the way back machine". (There may be several options) Choose one or the other. 2)That should take you to the front page. If you look at the Logo, near the upper part of the page, underneath there will be a rather small search box. 3) Type or copy and paste the following:
www.suicide.wiki/w/Sodium_Nitrite and hit enter. It is a long article including a number of news reports, though the links no longer work. It has been a great comfort to me over the years. I copied and pasted it in a couple of my phone notebooks.
If I am not supposed to post this, I apologize. I'm not that familiar with these kinds of rules. Besides, I am old and senile and . . .
