  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Has anyone else ever joined a support group, online or irl? I joined an online one once and had a pretty shitty experience. I posted something about feeling like a bad person and some guy messaged me, we talked for a couple minutes and everything was fine until he asked if I "masturbate when I'm stressed or happy". I reported him and blocked him but all the mods did was delete the message and for some reason he could still message me despite being blocked. I thought was a pretty terrible way to deal with it, especially because there were a lot of young teenagers, even preteens in this group and it stated clearly in my bio that I was under 18 as well. Don't have a clue why the mods decided he was safe to have in a support group when he was messaging underage girls sexual things like that, I hate to think about the kind of things he could've been sending to the younger kids on there.

Anyway, has any one else had similar/bad experiences in support groups, or any good ones? Would be interesting to hear from others about it :)
