  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Hello, recently Ive decided to openly talk to my mother about my suicide plans. I had mentioned it like 3 times before in my life. the first when i was 12, and it had always been a bit of a dramatic event in the family. but i figured that one of the only things keeping me here is that i dont want to hurt her. so i want to make an effort to make her understand. and i think she does, little by little. i think that even for people that dont want to die, this life is very close to unbearable.

I agree. A loving mother will do anything to not loose you. And I dont blame them. Prolly the worst thing that can happen to a mother even if she understands your suffering. Hope it'll work out okay for you.

I hope things go well for you. Personally, I would never tell any family members as they would not accept it in any way or understand really and they would do everything to try and keep me alive.

I imagine a lot of my family will gather around to spew insensitive bullshit to me and then forget about it within a week if I tried opening up.

This is exactly where I'm at. I believe that part of my SI is me not wanting my mother to go through pain. I want to sit her down and explain to her that I'll probably be gone soon. Which will probably be the best thing for me - " As my life has been going down hill for years, and we both know it". But I have a feeling that my Mum will try to convince me out it, warn my other siblings and police my every action, even though deep down she'll know it's true.

I truly hope everything goes well on your end.
