Ok so I'm painting my new place blue with clouds (the blue is really in your face and I'm weird so lol) and I could do the cupboards and one wall in the hall is cut up by rooms so that's fine. But I have 3 big walls. What if the clouds are too big? Too small? Crowded? Too spaced?

I know I'm probably putting too much thought into this but I have to look at these walls for the next few years at least and its kind of like one of my personalities is a perfectionist because only some things bother me. And this..... This is really bothering me and I'm not 100% sure how to take a deep breath and move forward

What I would do is get large sheets of white paper and cut out clouds and tape them to the wall first. That way you can experiment with shapes and sizes and stuff without commitment before you actually paint them. And maybe have extra blue on hand so if you do regret anything, you can start over.

For some reason when I read the thread title I thought this thread was about Donald Trump.

Honestly, that was my first thought. I was surprised when it was actual house walls!

@BipolarGuy @k75 LMFAO no yeah actual walls although looking at the title, I get that.

Also thanks k75 I've thought of the paper idea and right now I have small piece of painting tape on the wall to get an idea where to put them but having the extra blue paint... It's almost like I have an eraser and I didn't think about that so thank you :)

What sort of clouds? I'm assuming cumulus?

Types of clouds

Maybe you could download some pictures and copy to get the feeling right.

If you don't like the first attempt, you can always repaint it. It's just paint.
