I guess no one really believed me.
My older sister (she's ten years older than me) repeatedly SAed me when I was a kid 8-11 year old. She would wait for our caretaker to leave and then she'd SA me.
The first person I told was my mom and she told me "Not to make a fuss," so I just dropped it with her. When I told my friends (without saying it was my sister), they said I was lucky and they wish I was in my place, so I figured that I must've just upset for no reason. The last person I told was the social worker when they asked me who introduced me to porn cause I got caught watching it, and I told them the situation with my sister and then she grilled me on it, "Why didn't you say this sooner?" "Do you know how serious of an accusation that is?" And things like that which made me feel really bad, so I backtracked and said I was just lying. That experience scared me so much that I didn't tell anyone about my SA, not even when the court ordered that I had therapy because I was "clearly mentally disturbed."
