  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'm glad there isn't some stupid obligatory suicide prevention number being plastered, but the author doesn't admit the problems that drive up drug use, alcohol use, and suicides. Sure they talk about putting more resources into mental health programs and treatments, but once again, those things don't address the underlying root cause or reasons why people kill themselves, or resort to alcohol and drugs.

Very well said. The focus should be on prevention, whereas they're currently only investing in treatment for people after their life has gone to shit.

U.S. deaths from alcohol, drugs and suicide hit highest level since record-keeping began.

https://eu.usatoday.com/story/news/...-disease-control-well-being-trust/3033124002/
you have to study college level statistics courses
it is very complicated
sometimes high numbers just mean more occurrences were counted
also take into accounts birth rates and number of migrants
and the methods used to either give those results or how they were assessed as so

if number of death is high it should be a good thing but in reality humans give birth to many many people
so it never ends
humans are a virus dont really take into accounts number of deaths without looking at number of migrants and births
plus u ll never have a real number of illegals
