The leaked new Pokémon from Legends Arceus look fine for the most part. Even the really crazy or ugly-looking ones are ones I'm sure people will get used to once official art of them comes out or they actually appear ingame or in the anime or something.

Also I'm probably going to hate the game itself for how difficult it looks.

Giveaways and other free entry contests are not worth it due to: the (small) amount of time required to enter, the miniscule chances of winning, and the possibility of getting spammed with future marketing emails. Altogether a -EV endeavor in most cases unless you derive entertainment value from them, which I clearly do not.

I don't know how unpopular this opinion is, but recently someone suggested I should watch Disney parks vlogs or POV videos on YouTube as a relaxing experience, I tried it, I researched the Disneyland/DisneyWorld for a bit and I desperately need someone to explain to me why on Earth anyone would willingly put themselves through a day at Disney, even if it was completely free of charge, not to mention the fact that it's crazy expensive. When I learned what the average waiting times for an attraction is at Disneyland my jaw dropped to the floor. You essentially go to the parks and then spend all day pushing through the crowd and standing in lines, and none of the attractions are really even that unique or interesting, even for a young kid. I'm pretty sure Supernatural had a plotline about Hell being reorganised to just have sinners standing in lines all the time, and yet this is the experience we provide at the alleged "happiest place on Earth"? The only thing that I did find completely logical even though many people seem to complain about is that there is more and more adults rather than children in the parks - no shit, what child has the patience for a 2 hour line? I looked up every single attraction Disney World has and literally none of them strike me as something worth standing in line even for 15 minutes, there is really nothing that special about them. I worked with children for years and I can confidently say that if a child is young and imaginative enough to be convinced they are really meeting their favourite characters and experiencing something magical or fantastical in those parks, you can create a better experience for them in their literal backyard if you apply a little effort and imagination without needing to go anywhere, stand in any lines and pay even a fraction of the price. And for older kids there is nothing in those parks they wouldn't gladly trade for a day of just being left TF alone with Youtube, TikTok and videogames. This is so weird that it goes beyond just chalking it up to normies being normies, or 'muricans being 'muricans. Why are any of the people standing in lines in the scorching heat to ride 4 10 minute basic carnival rides a day happy? Are there some gasoline vapors in the air and are they all high out of their minds in those parks, is that what's going on here? Because this is literally the only logical explanation I can think of...

I totally agree. I have heard employees call it the "Tragic Kingdom"
I can't imagine standing in line cooking in the sun (Not a fan anyway I hate the heat).
Also the crowds would be excruciating.

I feel terrible for the "ugly" ones, even though they're not real and sometimes barely even mimic anything that is.

Yep. I haven't even done the first boss yet because I've just been having a blast going around catching stuff. It's insanely easy to waste time in this game especially with crafting being so convenient.

yeah in that situation indeed it's very questionable. but in the scenario where you've been ignored pretty much your who,e life and never given a chance or a thought, you
ll be left remaining with craving attention naturally so you may do seek attention as much as possbie to fill in those voids if u get what i mean,

As someone who actually likes Sword and Shield, this is way better lmao. Kind of sucks that there's no multiplayer in this one because SwSh has a really good meta game for competitive doubles but I still like it.

I agree but I feel almost bad for holding this sentiment (even though it should be acknowledged as truth) because I have some relatives who have tattoos and some of them are very nice ones (but they look like they need major upkeep), but then you've got people who literally doodle on themselves twice a year and need everybody on social media to know about it, those "minimalist" Instagram tattoos make my head spin.

At a certain point it becomes an impulsive (and expensive) way to draw eyes to yourself, it can be obnoxious.
For myself I don't need to imprint something on my body to remind me of why it's important to me, I don't need to advertise that way. I can easily just stick the image on my wall or wear it as clothing if it was really that pressing.
(Plus I would never be able to decide..I'd end up with either no tattoos or a million, and big regrets..I already have enough appearance related detriments, I don't need to risk any more. But hell..to each his own where tattoos are concerned.)

Oh I absolutely agree with you, those who have been relegated to the shadows and starved of attention 100% deserve to seek it out and be obliged.

It definitely has its positives as well since you're able to catch every possible Pokémon from the region without trading and even former trade evolutions like Gengar and Machamp just evolve through an easy to obtain item now.

As for an unpopular opinion, I wish the sun rose later in the morning and stayed up longer in the evening. Something like "rises at 10am, and sets at 10pm" would be good.

I haven't played showdown in over two years but when I did, I mainly just used it to conceptualize teams to be built in the actual games lol. I'd be down to play sometime.

Yeah it's basically just a battle sim without any of the grinding from the actual games. It also has some fun random modes where prebuilt mons can be pitted against each other.
