I'm looking to hybrid the old name I had on here to this one) from someone who finds chat more approachable and easier than the forums, it was a struggle finding interesting threads to post to work towards my favorite color rank. Now I can have it! (There isn't a color picker and there isn't a good red, so here I am) I'm a psuedo-Arcanist!

I want to change mine but I can't think of any username that isn't either pretentious or just taking the piss. I might just stay the same, it's easier.

@Brick In The Wall the whirly icon reveals 'Previous usernames' which implies that all previous usernames will be recorded there.

Interesting. I've changed to blue but I'm still pink (at least to me) in the members online list.

Ps if you are using a white theme I wouldn't be able to look at it, my eyes hurt with white screens.

I kind of hope we get more colors in the future because I've already experienced them all and decided I like blue and orange the best but it would be cool if we had like navy blue, brown, or black.

Yeah I doubt I will ever change mine here, but to those that have been asking for such features, that is good.
For now I will stick to my profile banter and avatar.

I don't mind the color change to much. It's a bit annoying as you'll have to click on the persons name to see how many posts/if they're active in the community or if they're new/trolling/etc with just a changed color that makes them not have the new color. But that's not a big deal as it rarely happens and takes one extra click lol.

The name changing will be annoying though. Will be hard to tell who is who and will loose track of that. My suggestion if you don't revert the name change is make it so that you can view their previous names in their profile.

I liked the old color ranking system better. That way you could know who has been here the longest and had a lot of posts. Now anyone can be anything and nothing really matters anymore.
Why have a rank color at all then?

You can still see when people joined up and posts likes and counts? I can see you joined aug 5th 2018? The colours meant nothing to me.

I've checked on incognito and people who aren't forum members can't even preview your profile, but I don't know about if they are a forum member yet.

They make accounts. It's not hard to do so.

I believe your colour remains the same (based on your rank) to users not logged in, regardless on whether you change it.

Also: it looks like your original colour stays the same in the main forum list of users logged on.
