While we don't know all the details (intentions, motives, and all the circumstances surrounding his CTB) of the case, I would wish that media would stop reporting suicide as some tragic event or that everyone who dies of suicide is a victim of suicide. Suicide isn't always a negative thing (contrary to public opinion), it's an act of self-termination, self-ending. Most people who do it have reached a point of despair and no longer wish to continue fighting and nobody should dictate whether those people should continue fighting or not.

I'd have to disagree. This young man's intent and wishes aside, this suicide was a tragic (and possibly traumatizing) event for the many people who witnessed it. Do you expect the media to report it as some beautiful act of self-deliverance that the jumper chose to graciously share with those around him?

Agreed..I can only imagine.it's a very popular tourist site and new mall.There were many ppl, including children, who are very traumatized n some will b for a very long time. Really tragic..My heart goes out to his fam n all those affected..
