Has anyone tried this method?

In case some are wondering, it's Voluntary Stop Eating and Drinking.

The first three days are supposed to be the worst, with the hunger pangs, and the need for a drink of water. After that, your body get a used to it, and the pain usually subsides.

They say without water you could die within a couple days. Without food, it could be several weeks. Without both, it would speed up the death process.

I am considering this option.

Unless you are in the middle of the Sahara, it won't work. Only one thing is worse than hunger-thirst

Do what you need to do but I don't think that one is a good idea. Besides, you've suffered enough already.

I've worked in many different nursing homes what you say is true.
