Today's word killed me, one of the guesses was drivel... I am having such a hard time with this....
Seriously I am so fucking unlucky, out of all the words...
I am trying really hard to not to give up... I am really trying to make up to december at least... god really hates me

Challenge 46: Musicals

I wanted to do another musical based challenge. I think music can be important in recovery and it's something that brings a lot of us together. There are so many threads on sasu for sharing music so it appears very popular. It's quite hard to think of a challenge that isn't either creating music or sharing music so if anyone has any ideas that would be great, I did think about some kind of music quiz?

Anyway this weeks challenge is to share a song from a musical or play that means something to you. could even be something like disney they have some great ones.

I've chosen On My Own from Les Miserables. This is the only musical I've ever been to see and I did find it quite hard to follow but this one song really resonated with me and has stayed with me.


Also I wanted to add How far i'll go, I haven't even seen the movie but I heard the song and it really struck me

My instant reaction was that this would be way too niche for me. But no. Disney. Such an immature 'adult'. So many 'catchy' songs that seem to soundtrack my life.

I do like/also resonate with Moana's How Far I'll Go.

I also massively relate to some of Elsa from Frozen but this is across the film and more character than specific song; 'i'm never going back, the past is in the past', 'yes I'm alone but I'm alone and free' - a lot of 'do you wanna build a snowman' where its sensible and better to stay locked up and safely away from others.

But if I'm only choosing one, the one that seems to pop up most for me in sense of kickstarting motivation or keeping me going and singing the chorus almost mantra-like at times is from Mulan. I'll make a man out of you. As a bonus/side, I really find some frustrations are summed up and can be taken out in the simple line "and you haven't got a clue".

Challenge 47: Lets play GeoGuessr

I was going to do this challenge a while back but I found out you now have to pay for Geoguessr. I did just discover that you can play a free limited daily game
Anyway link is below, post your results if you feel like it

This was my result for today, I did really well on one but confused the US with Australia which cost me a lot





This was the one I got really close to but it did have a building with a big sign on it saying Warsaw so it was hardly skill :)
Just under 2 miles away was not bad though

I am apparently amazing at geoguessr. All the places I got were really easy though, they all had the name of the city somewhere, so it wasn't really hard. Only on the first one I guessed Dubai by pure luck
