  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I post on /fit/ but obvs they don't give great advice. I'm looking to lose weight relatively quickly. 1 year from now maybe? 5'7 and 245 lbs rn sadly. Highest I've was 250 and then I dropped to 225 while in the mental hospital. Any tips? I want to be 135 within 1 year.

Low carb + intermittent fasting. Losing 110 in a year is very difficult. You'd probably have to keep your daily net carbs to under 40 or so and even then I'm not sure you'd hit that. But you'd be a lot lighter, in any case.

Can I lose 110 in a year?? :pfff: (currently 5ft4 113lbs lol)

As an anorexic that finds eating 500cals a day difficult, I don't have much advice. A nutritionists approach (eat healthy, lots of fruits and veggies as they tend to be low on cals) and exercise should help.

Check out this website called justcico.com, you input your stats (height, weight, target calories) and it'll calculate how long it'll take to reach your goal.

It's all about calories in vs calories out, any method of weight loss is gonna boil down to that. Making the most out of your calories with nutritional and filling foods will also help with any hunger you experience at first. Not easy but once you get over that initial starting hurdle you'll find things go much smoother.
