I've had a lot of crazy and unwanted traumatic things happen in my life, but the weirdest thing I've done voluntarily and am still doing to this day is purposefully giving myself a uti… it's not for nsfw purposes, but when I was around 20 (23 now, this would've been during quarentine) I was extremely suicidal without any proper method to go based off of. i eventually formed a proper plan, but since it'll take me a while, I've decided to only use the restroom once or twice a day. The possibilities of dying from a uti are scarce and only happen if bacteria enters the bloodstream (i understand this, don't need a medical lecture) but Its Just something for me to fall back on if I don't go through with my actual plan (Finish the next two years-ish of college). Do I expect it to kill me first? No. Ive tested positive for a uti every single doctors appointment for the last three years, and I'm in the hospital often, but no life threatening scares have happened due to my uti. It's just sort of something to soothe me as I pass the time

just thought this was a funny thing to share. I don't know what i achieve from posting this but I've told no one and wanted to get this off of my chest.

This will cause sepsis. Dont do it, its incredibly painful way to go. Except it will stary from the bladders and be 2x worse. Also the afterwards of it is not so good. You might be impaired for the rest of your life.

I had sepsis in 2015. I was in a coma for 12 days and in the hospital for 23 days. While in the coma the doctors told my wife to be ready for the worst.

It started with a small scrape on my arm that got infected. The infection quickly took over my whole body. My wife took me to the ER with flu like symptoms. That's the last thing I remember until waking up 12 days later.

Everything about it was/still is painful. Every cell in my body hurt. They gave me morphine which helped a bit. Being in a coma for 12 days, plus the sepsis itself, destroyed my body. I had to relearn how to walk. To this day, 2.5 years later I have no stamina. Walking to the mailbox wears me out. I literally could not run for my life if I needed to. I can't work anymore.

After I got home, I had to continue heavy doses of intravenous antibiotics 3 times a day for a month.

Sepsis sucks.

I know, I've had this lecture from my nurse of a mom lol. I am well versed in the dangers of sepsis, uti's, the possible surgery I'll need to go through, ect, but atp the pain brings me some weird kind of pleasure and the excruciating pain i'll experience from this death doesn't matter to me. Thank you for worrying though.

im also too deep into this, im Pretty sure this is some weird ass addiction now. This isn't my CTB method anyways so as long as I beat the illness to it, I'm fine.
