Well depends on what the objective is, my dad was kinda like me in that he always said to my mom "Yea, if things got bad I would just *bam*, yknow?"
He was a labourer, then turned into working in hospitals and stuff, always did a bunch of drugs and alcohol.

So if you want a lifestyle where you do rewarding work while destroying your body I'd recommend that. And labourers are fucked up, so you get access to like substances and stuff, not advocating for you to do that ofc, just telling the experience of seeing my dad's life.

Then if you just want an excuse to like... Have an "accident" you have a ton of careers for that, operating heavy machinery or working at a factory.
When I was working in a factory and feeling extremely bad, my dad had cancer at the time and I was really depressed, I thought how easy it would be to pump up the pressure of one of the machines in the factory to the max, disable the safety with a cardboard trick I learned and just put my head inside that, compressing it in like 5-6 seconds into mush.

But then again, I don't understand the nature of the question. The old guys in the factory had a few missed fingers or sometimes a hand.
I heard a story of a kid working construction that fell and got impaled and died, so that can happen too. Ummm, what else, anything with hazardous chemicals or like soldering, that ruins your health too. Just like if you don't wear protection at all.
Hmmm, what else.... Well, any type of driving a vehicle, although that may end up causing harm to third parties by mistake.
Drug dealing and police work
Hmmmm, prostitution, depending on the clients can become dangerous...

I just want relief from my miserable, dreadful existence.

Not sure how seriously to take this thread.
I guess either way my first instinct is …
Window washers. I lived in a big city with tall buildings. Don't know how the hell they managed to do that.

Actually, I guess any outside building maintenance job is dangerous if you are forced to go high enough

Medicine. Any job in the medical field where you have to deal with people who are in the worst position they've ever found themselves in.

Law Enforcement and some legal careers (criminal defense, mostly).

Military. Especially if you see combat.

I have personal experience with people in all of these career fields. And NONE of them are safe from demons. It's just how it is.

Statistically speaking, being the president is one of the most dangerous jobs.

On a more serious note, I don't know, the jobs are probably dangerous for a reason, and any accident involves a lot of pain, not necessarily death. I wouldn't get a dangerous job in order to die, if that is the implication.

I feel like military is a dangerous one or maybe a police officer, having access to firearms and such.

I'm talking about roles where you're exposed to things that could potentially end your life, or where you have straightforward access to the means you need to take your own life.

Oh God! I can just imagine! Too bad you can't just shoot the people who need shooting. I think the world would be a MUCH nicer place if we could. 🤷🏻😉

Assuming you're serious... I hear that Ukraine welcomes foreigners in their military. If you're in the US, sign up with ICE. Become a paid protester in the US (if there are such things). Security guard in a bad neighborhood. High school teacher in the inner city. If I remember right, the most dangerous job is logging. Or maybe it's working on an oil platform.

Heavy on pharmacy it's basically retail but with extra work and it's not in anyway rewarding. Avoid it at all costs, I think if AI is going to replace anything it should be this career. A lot of them turn evil because of the stress and bully their customers.

Provides access to the good stuff for CTB though (the subject of this light-hearted(?) thread).

I don't think OD'ing is that great of a method tbh
Maybe. Not so sure though. With street grade drugs of dubious purity, sure.
But lab grade? And with the knowledge of being a qualified/trained pharmacist? Damn! They got cupboards full of the purest hardcore stuff.
What does the medical profession use for assisted dying, or anaesthetics for surgical operations. Etc.
The 5 drug mix in the PPH, just an example. 10/10 for reliability/peacefulness. Minus points for complexity and legal access (but not if you are the dispensing pharmacist though).
I know OD isn't everyone's preference though, but afaik it's essentially how the 'humane' assisted dying processes work.
