• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I have lots of reason to be nearly 100% sure there is an afterlife (so lets say 98% sure to be reasonable), including that I have clinically died from a rape attack where I was drugged. I also have 20 years personal research and tangible proof consciousness exists outside the body, repeatedly daily for years on end and using random images a computer derived from online images (so photos gotten from online which could be anything) to experiment with. And images people picked for me and were aware of the content but I was not, and tons of other tests of all natures. I am not here to convince anyone of that, so I will leave it out. But for me I know what I know to be true. I also personally believe there is reincarnation to earth as well, but only in human form and not over and over. Just till you clear physical karma. But that I cannot prove scientifically even to myself. So I *believe* it versus know it.

So yeah, comparing it to a reset button could be right. But you might be aware of yourself the same as while alive once you die. That is my experience. Once out of the body, you are 100% the same and might not even know you have died or are out of your body. (But physical issues would not be the same in this case, so if you die with a broken arm, I am saying the arm will not be "broken" once dead in most cases, I would think.)
I believe in after life and existence of consciousness after we leave this body. Am so looking forward to that experience and to re unit with my better half..my husband who left me 4 months ago...

In my opinion it is humsn's ego that we think we would still be alive after death in different form.
If reincarnation is true , does that mean spirit gets a choice to take rebirth or there is some godly entity which pushes the soul back in to a different body , if that's true then we are still slaves of that God. I don't want to be a slave of anyone.
But still loss of existence or consciousness after death petrifies me...

I do want to believe in after life and the theory which say that we would be able to re united with our departed loved ones..I so want to hold on to that thought till i exit this world..the feeling of reuniting with my husband gives me happiness and eases me and makes me less miserable in this world

But am prepared for nothingness as well...

Either ways my misery will come to an end..no more suffering!! So am totally looking forward for my time to come..

A lot of people want Heaven but seriously....what would we do up their for eternity? Would it be like church 24/7? Would we be forced to worship God like the North Korean people praise Kim Jong Un? At best we could float on a cloud playing the harp but that would get boring fast. WiFi is not mentioned in the Bible.

How can it be a reset button?? Think about how many 10's or 100's of millions of people that have CTB, all at completely different times. So each individual reset to their birthpoint when they CTB, along with the rest of the world. Somehow I doubt theres 10-100million different worlds running on different timelines, according to when someone CTB. I doubt what i'm writing even makes sense, but I don't know how else to put it into words.

I am too well versed in scientific studies (relevant topics: biology, chemistry, biochemistry, evolution, even programming etc.) to believe that. We are simply the result of a runaway process that started when amino acids started to self-replicate. We are nothing but matter that somehow coded itself to pass on information to replicate; each human being -- actually, each organism is one tiny insignificant data point amongst trillions and trillions of iterations. Our consciousness and sentience is simply the words we use to describe what happens when the amount of synapses and electrical signals in a system get large enough. When it comes down to it, human life is no different than animal, plant, and microbial life; we are just able to process more information, that's it. If you think human thought processes remain after death in some form, then by logical extension, you must also think that rat, or a fly, or even a bacterial microbe has an afterlife or is reincarnated. Is that the case? No. Humans come up with all these stories of religion and an afterlife and reincarnation to hide themselves from the facts that I brought up; to hide themselves from the fact that they are completely insignificant in the big picture.

Even if it was a reset button, I would not mind that. Statistically, since most human beings are not depressed, there's a good chance I would be happy if I were someone else.

My version of heaven would be our brains constantly receiving a heavy dose of happy chemicals (dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine) without tolerance ever going up or any negative side effects. Literally just complete bliss and happiness all the time. Like heroin that lasts forever with no negative effects.

Yes it would. It's the only version of heaven that makes sense to me. Eternity in "paradise" would get real fucking boring real fucking quick if we retained the same brain chemistry as on Earth. How do you guarantee that the countless humans that have died before and will die don't come into conflict, or experience negative emotions, or retain traumatic memories that haunt them? Forcing them to permanently exist in a state of being content, happy, and blissful. Otherwise, heaven is a stupid concept come up by ignorant people with no regard for logistics or rationality.

I imagine the Fermi paradox (as in why we haven't encountered other intelligent life) is because a civilization that gets advanced enough will invent immortality and a drug or machine that pretty much forces them to permanently experience happiness. Once they get to that point, there's no point in doing anything else. All life (Earth-based, at least) wants to do is to do things that release pleasure chemicals in their brain.

The prospect of this is terrifying for me (though I have no reason to think that it will happen).

A cursory look at the newspaper is enough to remind me of the probable chance that I would reenter this life as someone that is placed in a terrible situation.

If my consciousness can exist without my brain then I see no reason why I can't also be reincarnated as a potato.

It's not a reset, it's just the end. If it is a reset, I hope I kill myself earlier on the next try.
