  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I keep seeing people say N is a good method, but I've no clue what this actually is.
And would anyone be able to tell me what ctb exactly means? I understand the gist, just not the direct translation.

Thank you

Nembutal. A death assisting drug. CTB means close the book. You are finished. Exit life. :heh:

I thought it meant "continue to breathe". Had me thinking this site is pro-life for months on end...
Lol, that must have been confusing.

CTB has always meant "Catch the Bus" and it originated from a quite old Pro Choice forum/newsgroup called ASH (Alt-Suicide Holiday) where the phrase "waiting at the bus stop" was coined to mean preparing and waiting for the time to commit suicide. Anything else is a backronym.

Thanks.
I always thought it stood for 'Cease To Be'.
