  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

In the city where I live, there are less buildings with more than 7 storeys. It would really help if someone lets me know what will be the minimum height required. I can get access to the terrace at certain days and if not the terrace, probably the lobby or the windows. But I need to be sure of death before doing it.

Thanks.

I'm afraid there might not be a certain height that will garantee a success. I heard people surviving a fall from 20+ storeys and some people die when falling from a few meters.

Maybe you will find the answers you are looking for here:

i think if person attached something 10kg like iron at neck , the person would hit by head and there is no chance to survive (at ground not water), but I don't know exactly , jump with this from 20 meter will be eneoght for death? I think minimum it will break neck and will cause death and probably instant death because maybe spinal cord will break too.

20 meters isn't very high. You may break your neck if you land headfirst, but SI will make that landing position quite difficult even with weights on your head. If you survive, a second attempt might not be possible when your legs are broken or if you're paralyzed. It would really be terrible if you became permanently disabled due to not jumping from high enough. Can you travel to someplace that has at least a 50 meter drop? You really don't want to leave anything to chance.
