  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

After reading a lot about SN and Exit Bag, I've come to the conclusion that partial hanging is the only option I have, because of everything that could go wrong with the other two methods mentioned.

I've read about people that can execute partial haning easily, and others that have tried multiple times without being able to pass out, what's the main factor that make it easy for some and so difficult for others?

I'm noob regarding this method, so I'm aware that I have to do my reasearch about the specific of it, but If anyone could give me feedback about this, I'll be grateful.

Is just lack of "skill" what make some people not hit the right spot?
It's difficult to hit the carotid arteries, especially the more fat you have on you apparently. The arteries are deeper in the neck than your trachea is. It is recommended to add things like corn hole bags or rolled up socks to where your carotid arteries are located so pressure is placed on them instead of of the trachea.

I think it is a mix of things. Anatomy plays a role as everyone's arteries are in slightly different places making it potwntially ore difficult for some to find the "sweet spot". As LnL put, resolve also matters. You have to be patient enough to keep trying to find the correct placement plus you then have to hold that position until you pass out. It is rather easy with partial to just straighten up and get yourself out of it. Even SI can take over and make you get up (happened to me).

There is also the consideration of equipment used. Making sure your anchor point can hold you, your rope is strong enough, your knots are sufficient. It is a deceptively simple method that still requires quite a few variables to line up correctly.
