  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I've come to the obvious realization that opioid od is the best way to go, I was considering something like taking a massive OD on a bathtub slowly running, so when I do pass out slowly the water would take over. With a weight also present of course. Does anyone else have a strategy similar to this that combines the peaceful passing out of opioid with then certainty of death

Opioids would certainly be my go-to if I had access to them. The one caveat I hear about them is that the fatal dose can be somewhat unpredictable because of differences in individual responses, although if I understand correctly you wouldn't be relying on the overdose to do the act of killing. Overall, I think the idea is sound.

ב''ה,

I genuinely want to say 'a train' because nothing else seems like a sure thing, but I've also seen video of someone possibly surviving this, because apparently laying across the tracks is not a sure thing unless whoever is doing this can keep their head positioned while out. (It's a weird video and involves an amputated person in the middle of nowhere, though whatever wacked them out enough to end up on the tracks is uncertain and they brought their dog with them.)

As this genuinely is something to consider for anyone expecting this to be peaceful for themselves... Yeah.

Trash compactor seems common enough but requires exquisite timing and wouldn't want to wake up in the middle of that.

I think I'd have to pass on death by trash compactor, of all the things to fear in a failed CTB that is one the more scary ones.

One option would be to take a boat or kayak out in deep water and pull the drain plug right after the OD.
