I like how experimental it is and the themes that it explores.

I think mine is A man called otto, since it's about an old man who just wishes to be in peace after he lost a loved one.

My favorite movie is Everything Everywhere All At Once.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6710474/
It's basically about a Chinese immigrant mother trying to fight/save her daughter after a interdimensional rupture that changes her perception of reality. It has a lot of heavy theming about identity, suicide, intergenerational trauma, and nihilism (both negative and positive). It's probably the only movie I've ever watched that made me think really deeply about my decision to CBT.

Idiocracy because of how accurate it is to reality. To me, it seems like overall it's the stupid people who procreate whilst the smart ones don't

Anime, mostly the classics like "Akira" which I used to watch with my dad as a boy have a special place in my heart. Being half Japanese myself, lived in Japan for a while make it hit me hard.

A modern masterpiece I would say.

It isn't a movie, more like a documentary

Thank you so much to remind me of this one, I think I'll rewatch it.

No one knows it but it's Maleficent… Angelina Jolie is just a convincing villain ((: and plus she's not truly evil, is she? :O Thats what they like you to know 🥹 I love how that movie made me feel afterwards… Oh and perhaps Aladdin. It's so realistically just good, and I mean the original Disney classic, not the live remake.

Oh god, Aladdin <3

It's filled with dark meanings and societal critiques.

I identify so much with Geanie, being a people pleaser and enslaved into a life of servitude.

A friend was showing me some funny conversations on his Grindr profile one day.

I commented: Must be really easy for you guys, no?

He went down explaining and helped me navigate all the intricacies and hardships of their world.

Who ever struggles with it have my sympathies, it's not easy as my uneducated self thought at first.

I would say Public Enemies. I admire the attitude of the 50's era bank robbers like John Dillinger, and how they would stick it to the greedy bankers. Plus, Johnny Depp does a damn good job portraying J.D.

Right now all I can think of is 10 Things I Hate About You. Used to watch this so much I could repeat dialogue. 😉
Even though no one asked... 😉

Close second or 1& half 😉 54 Salma Hayek  & Ryan Phillipee
