Why do many Americans apparently hate Argentina?

I've seen many times on social media many Americans criticizing the lack of racial diversity in Argentina, to the point that it's already annoying and in most cases they end up being ridiculed by the Latin audience, but is there any valid reason for Americans to do this? I mean, most Latinos don't like Americans talking about Latin America so I would like to know your opinions.

Many of them have little knowledge of geography. If you want to win a debate with them, ask them where your country is on the map.

Locking Americans in their world is the best thing.

I don't really care about their internal culture war, so locking them up and cutting off the internet sounds great.

Same here, I like Argentina and as a Venezuelan I have many things in common with Argentines apart from almost dying of hunger due to food shortages and inflation.

Whenever Americans talk about other parts of Latin America, they mostly seem to focus on countries like Brazil and Venezuela. Most don't care about Argentina.

Me personally, I have a friend (older lady) from Argentina that worked with me. She was AWESOME! She's a hard ass and wouldn't take shit from anyone but worked her ass off. She would tell management that she was gonna cut their throats in Spanish as nobody understood what she was saying it was awesome!.

Lol I worked in the hospitality industry for a few years. Even though I was in management and expected to dress and act in such a way that the guests could relate to me, I was most comfortable in the "back of the house" with the men and women in Housekeeping and Maintenance. Those LA older ladies were absolutely adorable -- the hardest workers on the planet and man oh man, they either LOVED you like their own child or they were plotting your demise (usually by pushing you into one of those gigantic dryers right before the end of shift and closing up for the day! ) I have always identified more with the down to earth folks than I have the hoieity toiety uppity rich folk.

Everyone I knew even before I locked myself away always really liked it when government either aggressively downsized, cut off things, or mobilized the national guard to respond to a riot. Free entertainment I guess.

Politics are very polarized where I live. People won't talk to neighbors with differing opinions left or right. My neighborhood could just be weird. Rule of thumb for knowing what side an American is on politics is pretty simple though. Just look at the hot press issues.
Deport illegal immigrants (those who didn't follow the legal immigration process and ran into the country) = right.
Diversity concerns, anti-deportation = left.
Industry(usually heavy where I am) = right. If I could drive I could reach oil wells in under an hour or two. Abbot(governor, talked about more than Trump here sometimes) Both usually say "drill baby drill" Probably going to lessen regulations and try to drill more oil.
Environmental preservation = either(both seem to really like the national parks where I live. Pretty big anti littering campaign too "don't mess with Texas" < comes from the anti-littering)

Imo, usually most fellow Texans I've talked to either don't vote, will only vote left for everything, or will only vote right for everything. I've not met anyone in between. It's probably due to both sides using campaigns that say anyone who doesn't vote their way either doesn't love the country and wants it to be destroyed, is a bad person with major moral failings for any reason, or is just downright tarnation evil. The hate is unreal.

The people talking about diversity in Argentina are probably fringe-left. Usually this would only be a concern for lefties if it was domestic, but if they are talking about a whole 'nother country, that's usually the fringers. Righties would probably point at Japan and say "One nation, one people, one culture, one government" and then proceed to ignore every problem they have or don't have. I know this makes me sound like "middle of the road guy with a massive ego makes fun of both sides", but I don't think I'm going to be around long enough to even see what's going to happen. I'm trying to detach myself from all worldly attachments if that makes sense.

Milei is basically the Latin version of Trump, only more liberal and less protectionist, he is against things like abortion and pensions, he is pro-life and a climate change denier... I don't like that guy.

No offense but I don't think Americans think about Argentina much at all. Let alone have serious opinions about the racial diversity of the country. But we do have an extremely racially diverse population in the US— more so than most due to one of our country's main corner stones— immigrant culture.

To me that just seems like a niche part of twitter, and not representative of americans in general. Argentina is barely ever mentioned at all in the anglosphere, not much thought about it good or bad
