We are advancing into discovering more and more the function of our brain, how emotions and well-being are related to expression of certain chemical substances and receptors and how mental issues may cripple the production of them and literally change the structure of your brain, but still people refers to mental health like something "abstract", as if brain and thought weren't something inside your body but just some extra-dimensional/spiritual thing.
Scientists have basically discovered specific brain areas in which emotions and memories are stored, and how they are prouduced (it involves electric pulses and chemical substances). But still we don't talk about personalities, mood disorders or mental issues like something physical that stay in the brain but still like something that doesn't exist:
"doesn't matter the structure of your brain, you can change the way you think if you want! Just man up and stop having mental issues! If you really want something you will achieve it! Ecc."
