• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

The neocons in his new government seem to sympathize to continue the support of Ukraine. And I am really glad about that. Selensky seemingly baited Trump how much money the US can earn if they exploit the resources of his country. Allegedly resources worth of 7 trillion US dollars are in the territory. Either the the US gets the resources or Russia was his narrative.

Even the Ukrainian people hope for Trump. I hope he won't disappoint them.

Ukrainian here, russia is not up for peace-talks, cuz Kremlin thinks they can get a better deal later (or even militarily).
And I wouldn't bet on Trump giving more military support considering the kind of things Elon and his followers say on twitter.

it's not looking good, dude.

Some Ukrainian people do hope (that's what humans in general do), simply because Trump is hard to predict, maybe he will give more military support, so the post above me is the closest truth.

I highly doubt Trump will outright save Ukraine. My thought process is that Trump will mildly continue Biden's strategy unless there is a big provoking event or narrative that he reacts to; an event that somehow angers or frightens him.

I'm Polish. Not a geopolitical expert but the only way to "save" Ukraine is to defeat Russia. You shouldn't treat Russia like a normal country "they are aggressive because they lack something". No, they are aggressive because they can.

Are they really that nationalistic across the entire expanse, though?

It's such a diverse collection of people across such a wide area that I find it hard to imagine deep pockets of nationalism across the whole country like you might expect to find somewhere more homogenous and concentrated (e.g. Chyina).

Most people there don't care enough to even know the war is going on. Most of these who have some curiosity in politics watch tv or telegram channels infested with propaganda.
So they could get that nationalism from there, it's not too radical, they can easily change to a different current thing of the propaganda.

And those who really care and do research, and don't want these expanses are minority and do not have a say in anything.
(altho, Navalny had a disturbing view of annexation of Crimea, Ukrainians dislike him for that)

russian condition is a breeding ground for tyrants, who love these kinds of expanses.

Ukraine is screwed without American weapons and that's what Trump intends to do, he won't send any more weapons.

ב''ה,

There's a bunch of shit going on to make this an Art of the Deal narrative, sort of a more cheerful Iran-Contra.

Anyway it's half just about who gets to sell Germany all those gas reserves.

Yes they are that nationalistic. If a Russian is westernized they go to jail where they are tortured. Some are pro war some aren't but dont mind a few millions of Ukrainians dying.
Many don't have access to international internet they can't learn other point of views. What Russians hear is that Russia is great and they have the right to invade or maybe they don't even know there is an invasion. Propaganda. You see the West has propaganda that suicide is bad. Russia has propaganda that they never do anything wrong.
The only thing we can do is starve them economically.

Well. That's not all. At what point is the determination made to nuke that place into oblivion? Too late at this point, obviously. For now…until the space laser (cue Dr. Evil) is ready, at which point turn Moscow into a large, smoldering crater. 🙃

I have no idea what you mean. Nuking Moscow is an evil idea and it might not work if Putin flees in time. One one hand Russians are our enemies on the other hand murdering them all is wrong. There is no solution.

Gotta hope for the best, the war has been dragging too long either way, shame that some territories were lost by the Ukrainian side but Russians can play this was as long as they want, for 15 russians getting rid of 1 ukrainian guy is a fair deal to them, they have enough manpower to be playing it like a game and no life is valuable to them.. Im sure Trump will do his best to end that war, but it's all up to both sides in that war to decide, if one refuses it will just continue, it will have consequences then too resulting in what Trump is gonna do, so we just gotta see whats going to happen in a few weeks.

No solution?! Ok, you aren't wrong - Putin should first be assassinated…and then the rest of that country bombed and/or nuked until they're brought to heel like Japan in the 40s. Cut the head off the snake first, then chop the body bit by bit. The playbook's already there. Wtf are they gonna do in response? Celebrate in the streets like Syrians?

Ukraine has shown the world that "Russian war machine" is a marketing gimmick. Too slow to build missiles. Antiquated Air Force. A Navy that can't even sit still in the Black Sea without getting sunk. Let's not even talk about the tactics of lining up single file for KMs to launch an assault. Idiots.

They could (and should) be shown their actual place in the world order - aka, Russia's big, starving, freezing population is next-to useless in modern warfare. Can't even handle what they deem as a "breakaway province" without significant help from…wait for it…NORTH KOREA?! Lmao.

There are just more pressing problems involving more legitimate world players, or Russia would be dealt with in a decisive manner. Will be dealt with if they want to get froggy and get all of NATO involved.

Do you also watch Secular Talk? Or is robber baron as a term now popular US wide?
I don't.

Robber Baron is a 100+ y/o term used to describe the likes of Carnegie, Rockafeller, and Vanderbilt. Outsized wealth and power, exceeding that of the government in some cases, like we're seeing today.

Maybe today's Thieves of Society see the virtues of reigning in income inequality. At least the OG robber barons started modern philanthropy. This current set is probably going to need it pried from their cold, dead fingers unless they're able to build-up robot armies first.
