Alive. Been trying to make a donut in Blender for a few days. It keeps making me hungry. I need to start work on my term paper for my modern politics course, it's due this Sunday.
Got two days of meds left. I'm giving it a week before my tremors come back.

All this talk of doughnuts made me think of an ex boyfriend who was so stingy, my god, it was excruciating to see.

We were in Germany and we went out to get a cup of coffee. The coffee shop had yesterday's jelly doughnuts on sale (they are called Berliners). This guy would never take out his wallet (he would rather wait to get to the hotel to drink water rather than buy a bottle) and because I am insanely careless with money, I paid for everything.

Anyway, knowing I love jelly doughtnuts, and seeing they were on sale, he said "It's my turn to treat you. And to make up for all you have been spending I will get you not one, but TWO of these doughnuts on sale".

Hahaha. I had to pick my jaw from the the floor.

@Soulless_Angel That i feel is the beauty of this thread. You never know what is going on from day to day. It gets very diverse. Nice way to kill some time reading through it and trying to figure out WTF is going on.

I'm attempting to finish my modern politics term paper... I decided to write on the political consequences of the 2008 recession, and Trump and Sanders came up. Turns out, it's a bad idea to attempt to write on controversial figures with only 2 days in hand.

I've had the draft of this written since last month, I just took till today to get back to it and rewrite it. It's going to take a couple of hours of focused writing, which I should be able to accomplish.

Yes. I told her jot to get Dog as that breed wouldn't make a good pet but she didn't listen. Now she has a gun dog that she can't work and wonders why he's a handful.

Mmm. Maybe. I tend to prioritise the people who have time for me and listen to me. My sister has called me once since before Christmas. I don't call her cuz she's always too busy and puts me on speaker whist she does the washing up.

Hell i've talked with the members here more than my family.
I can't remember the last time i've actually spoken to my brothers or sisters. My mother calls me every month or so to check on me and see that i'm ok and still alive.

Well i've never been into my family much. They care about me..i know that. But we have nothing in common to talk about. I'm me and they are they. If they want to know what's up they ask my mother

I talk or text with my mom daily, she and I are very close. With my brother I sometimes talk several times a week, sometimes there's radio silence for a month, because we are both busy. I miss them very much though and wish we lived closer so we could be a part of each other's lives, not just voices on the phone or text messages on a screen.

My family is spread out over the country. So the only time i see them is when there is some family event that gets us together.

I wish. She made me move to this place then has had little to do with me since. I'm fed up of making the effort.
