An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
I'm feeling pretty shitty. Being called a fat, stupid and lazy all day by my mum is doing wonders. All of that being true makes me it hurt just that much more.
Worst part is, it seems like the domestic travel shutdown is going to last longer than my allowance of meds. I have no idea what to do if that happens. I'm on anti-psychotics and seizure controllers, and the days when I miss a dose are pretty bad now that I've grown used to them. My dose runs out a few days into April. I hope we're done with this Covid-19 bullshit before then.
There must be some doctor's office you can call and get a prescription refill. The kind of medication you are on is serious stuff. I don't think they will dismiss you.

I'll put pennies on your eyes and it will go away.

I don't see a way of doing this that doesn't involve my parents getting to know of it. I have literally no privacy. They know that I'm on meds now, I've just told them that it's for my asthma, not that it's related to a possible mental illness/personality disorder.
Edit: okay, I do have some privacy, considering that they don't know of my suicide attempts, or my membership here, but that's not what I'm getting at. Privacy w.r.t. physical things I have.

It involves going to a doctor, which would involve leaving the house, which only happens with their knowledge and permission. Then, once that's done, it would involve going to a pharmacy, which, again, would only happens with their knowledge and permission. And it would involve either withdrawing money from my bank account or using my debit card, which I don't need permission for, but it's something they will know about, since it's attached to my parents' email address (The account was made when I was a kid and we didn't change the attached email later because my mum refused).
I say permission, but it's that way because I refuse to let the situation get to a point where I'm kicked out of the house. I could reasonably force my way out to get both a new prescription and more meds, but I'm not confident I'll be let back in. My parents aren't the most progressive when it comes to mental illnesses and its treatment. And I don't want to risk getting into a situation where I'll have to test whether I have any IRL friends at all.

Well that seems to be quiet abit to go through. I wish i had a solution for you. So the debit card is linked to your parents? I would imagine even if you had something delivered to the house they would want to know what it is then.
India. Specifically, I'm in Kolkata right now, which is in the same state as Darjeeling, hence my attempt at a joke.

Ok, I understand. The medical system is very different where I live. You just phone the doctor and they refill your prescription which you pick up with your ID at any pharmacy.
I wish you good luck in finding a solution. I am genuinly sorry you have to worry about access to medication which your doctor prescribed.

Here's a mystery for you guys,
Last night I relapsed with cutting, (I normally self harm in other ways)
I put the blade down momentarily on the floor beside me, went back to get the blade, to discover it had simply vanished! I was in a room 7ft by 7ft (ish) by back was against the door, I emptied the room but it was gone!
I turned everything upside down, checked all clothes, all towels, simply No Where...!! Seriously?
I had to admit to my husband what I had done, he hunted too and still couldn't find it.
So baffled!
How the hell can a Stanley knife blade just vanish?

Welcome back. We missed you here.
Sorry to hear you had a relapse.
To be honest i've had weird shit like that happen too. One minute something was there and the next it wasn't. And yes we all know i drink. But the weird thing is maybe a day or so later the damn thing is there, right were it was before. I've been living alone for awhile so that rules out the roommate.
Is it at all possible your husband found it and tossed it out, but just didn't want to tell you he did it?

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well @Soulless_Angel
You didn't miss much here. Same old, same new.
My country is not in lock down yet, so it's pretty much business as usual, except for the fact that many work from home and there's no pasta at the grocery store.

LMAO We are allowed out for the same reasons. It's truely amazing that the liquor stores have been allowed to operate. It seems the state deems those as essential needs also. Also i guess the employees there are deemed as essential.
About the only damn thing they got right in this whole mess.
You are allowed out once a day for exercise?
